This Gulf Coast classic might just get you dreaming of the bayou. Shrimp is one of my favorite proteins to cook with, because it’s low in calories and is ready in a snap. The complex spicy flavors will only make it look like you spent hours in the kitchen.

Ingredients:

  • Nonstick cooking spray
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 24 medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/4 cup Tabasco Sauce
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

Directions:

  1. Spray a large skillet with nonstick cooking spray, and heat over medium high heat. Add the garlic to the skillet, and cook for 1 minute. Add the shrimp to the skillet, and sauté with the garlic for 1 minute.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients, and let the shrimp simmer in the sauce until the shrimp are cooked through, about 5– 7 minutes. Serve hot.
