Grilled Fruit Kebabs

 

These sweet juicy treats are perfect during the summer, especially at the end of a barbecue dinner.

INGREDIENTS (serves 4):

  • 4 bamboo skewers
  • 8 large strawberries
  • 1 whole peach, quartered
  • 2 apricots, halved
  • 1 plum, quartered
  • 1 tsp canola oil
  • PREPARATIONS:

    1. Soak skewers in cold water for 30 minutes.
    2. Heat a grill pan on high medium high heat. Brush with canola oil.
    3. Thread the fruit on the skewers beginning with a strawberry, then a quarter of a peach, half an apricot, a quarter of a plum and topped with a strawberry. Repeat for the three remaining skewers.
    4. Grill the kebabs, turning once, until lightly browned and softened, about 5 minutes.
