Ingredients (serves 4):

- 1 small onion diced
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 12 plum tomatoes chopped[/twocol_one]
- 8 basil leaves, sliced
- 2 teaspoons salt
- Freshly ground pepper[/twocol_one_last]
Preparations:
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the onion and garlic.
- Sauté the onion and garlic, stirring until onions are soft and translucent, about two minutes.
- Add the chopped tomatoes, basil and salt and pepper to the skillet and continue to cook for about 3-5 minutes.
