F-Factor Shrimp Creole

shrimp creole

This Gulf Coast classic might just get you dreaming of the Bayou. Shrimp is one of my favorite proteins to cook with, because it’s low in calories and is ready in a snap. The complex spicy flavors will only make it look like you spent hours in the kitchen.

Ingredients

Nonstick Cooking Spray

24 medium sized shrimp, peeled and deveined

¼ cup Tabasco Sauce

½ cup white wine

3 garlic cloves, minced

¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped

Preparation

  1. Spray a large skillet with nonstick cooking spray and heat over medium high heat. Add the garlic to the skillet and cook for 1 minute, add the shrimp to the skillet and continue to sauté with the garlic for 1 minute.
  1. Add the remaining ingredients and let shrimp simmer in the sauce until the shrimp are cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Serve hot.
