It’s a breeze to whip up a batch of these delicious meatballs – great as party appetizer or for weekend dinner.
1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle chile sauce
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 (10 ounce) jar Polaner All Fruit with Fiber grape jelly
1 pound lean ground turkey breast
1 egg, beaten
1 large onion, grated
½ cup high-fiber cracker crumbs
¼ teaspoon salt
- Whisk together the chili sauce, lemon juice and grape jelly. Pour into a sauce pot and simmer over low heat.
- Combine ground turkey breast, egg, onion, crumbs and salt in a large bowl. Mix well and form into 1 inch balls. Add to sauce and simmer for 45 minutes.
