Sautéed Cabbage

INGREDIENTS (serves 4): 

  • 1 head green cabbage, shredded
  • 2 Tbsp sesame oil
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3 Tbsp low sodium soy sauce
  • Sesame seeds (optional)
  • PREPARATIONS:

    1. Wash and shred cabbage. Place a large sauté pan with 1 Tbsp sesame oil over medium-high heat (leaving 1 Tbsp sesame oil aside for use later). 
    2. Add cabbage to pan, season with pinch of salt. Gently stirring, add soy sauce. Continue to stir gently and cook until cabbage has wilted (~10-12 minutes).
    3. Remove from heat, add remaining sesame oil and plate. Garnish with sesame seeds if desired.
