“This recipe can convert anyone into a cabbage lover”
INGREDIENTS (serves 4):
1 head red cabbage
½ cup olive oil
¼ cup balsamic vinegar
2 tsp honey
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
¼ tsp red pepper flakes
1⅓ tbsp kosher salt
⅔ tbsp black pepper
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
PREPARATIONS:
Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
Remove any loose outer leaves from the cabbage, trim the base, and slice into ½-inch-thick rounds.
In a wide, shallow bowl, whisk together olive oil, balsamic vinegar, honey, garlic powder, onion powder, red pepper flakes, kosher salt, and black pepper until well combined.
Generously coat each cabbage slice on both sides in the mixture.
Arrange cabbage in a single layer on the baking sheet, leaving space between each piece.
Roast for 20–25 minutes until tender with caramelized, golden edges.
Remove from oven, sprinkle with parsley, and serve warm.
