The Ultimate Sausage Egg and Cheese Breakfast Sandwich

INGREDIENTS (serves 1):

  • 1 20/20 Homestyle Biscuit, sliced in half horizontally
  • 1 slice nonfat American cheese
  • PREPARATIONS:

    1. Lightly coat a skillet with nonstick cooking spray and place over medium heat. Add the egg and egg white and scramble with salt and pepper to taste. Set scrambled eggs aside.
    2. Re-coat the skillet with nonstick cooking spray. Add the frozen sausage patty to heat for ~11-12 minutes, turning/flipping occasionally. Remove from heat.
    3. Assemble sandwich: Place heated sausage patty on the bottom half of the biscuit, top with scrambled eggs followed by the slice of cheese and finally the top half of the biscuit.
    4. Serve immediately.
