“Reese’s Cup” F-Factor Truffles

A big round of applause to @meandmydad.livinghealthy for being the winner of our 2020 Valentine’s Day Truffle Contest with this awesome recipe!

INGREDIENTS (serves 6):

  • 1 Tbsp PB Fit Powdered Peanut Butter
  • Sea salt, to taste
  • PREPARATIONS:

    1. Lay a rectangular piece of parchment paper out on counter. Using a knife divide each half of bar into 6 bite-sized squares (you should have 12 squares total: 6 peanut butter, 6 chocolate).
    2. Place squares on microwave safe dish and microwave for 10 seconds. Combine each chocolate square with a peanut butter square by rolling them into a ball, or heart-shape, on the parchment paper. Set aside.
    3. Fill a small double broiler with water and place over medium heat to bring to a boil. Add chocolate chips, gently stirring until melted.
    4. Using a toothpick dip each truffle into the melted chocolate and place back on parchment paper to cool.
    5. While truffles cool, mix PB Fit with ~1/2 Tbsp water, to create a watery peanut butter.
    6. Once cooled, drizzle prepared PB Fit over chocolate layer. Sprinkle with sea salt as desired.
