Immunity-Boosting 20/20 Smoothie

Looking to up your defenses against getting sick? Look no further, this super-smoothie has got it all! With spinach, mango and pineapple, it’s packed with Vitamin C, and the addition of fresh ginger and turmeric makes it even better. Ginger has both antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, and not only is the turmeric anti-inflammatory, but its active ingredient, curcumin is anti-fungal and anti-viral too. Drink up!

INGREDIENTS (serves 1):

  • 1/3 cup fresh pineapple chunks 
  • 2 Tbsp raw ginger, peeled 
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric 
  • 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • PREPARATIONS:

    1. Mix all ingredients in a blender, and pulse to desired consistency. 
    2. Pour and enjoy!
